Hiring a finance administrator was probably one of my most difficult hires until Olga bubbled to the surface one day in 2010.  We had placed an ad on Craigslist and had group interviewed dozens of candidates and Olga stood out immediately.  Admittedly we hired her into some chaos as we were managing and selling a few hundred bank-owned properties at the time and despite the backlog of paperwork that would intimidate anyone, Olga moved us through it and organized the books and all the while became part of the family.  Olga is a quiet, calming presence at BGC and yet just when you think she’s predictable, she brings candies filled with “liquor” to the office with a little smile.
