I was sitting in my office late one evening finishing a contract and I got a call. I picked it up and on the other end was a pleasant woman asking if I was adding any agents to my team. As luck would have it, I was right in the middle of interviewing more agents for the team and I was impressed with her cold call. I brought her in and knew she had just what I was looking for. I like to hire agents who have a larger purpose in life besides making money and when I heard about Lily’s commitment to her family I knew she could authentically connect with our client base. Lily has several years of experience in real estate and is extremely knowledgeable, though what really makes Lily a great agent is her connection to her inspiration – her Grandmother. If you’re lucky enough to work with Lily, ask about her Grandma Emmaye.

Lily has 9 years of real estate experience in the greater Washington DC metropolitan area. She is a graduate of George Washington University, with a degree in Marketing, and has worked as a Marketing Manager for a Non-profit origination prior to her start as real estate agent. Her passion for real estate expands beyond her career. Her and her husband have bought, renovated and sold properties in Washington DC for the last ten years. As a long time resident of Washington DC, Lily knows the local market and neighborhoods inside and out, and can help you select the best home for your needs.
Even during her teenage and young adult years Lily has always been fascinated by houses and loved the idea of transforming older houses into beautiful ones. She is proud that she was able to make that dream true and is confident she can help potential home buyers realize their dreams. Lily was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She moved to the United States at the age of 11 and attended middle and high school in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She has been a resident of Washington, DC since 1991.
