Troy was a client of mine and after several transactions we started talking about him getting into the real estate business.  I probably lost a few deals because of this suggestion, but I gained one of the most caring people I know.  There are many qualities that make a great agent and authentically caring about clients is top on the list in my book.  You’ll find Troy defines “above and beyond” and his clients love him for it.  Behind that friendly sensibility is a surprisingly keen skill to analyze market conditions and purchase/sell options.  I can’t imagine BGC without Troy and I know you’ll feel the same when you connect with him for your next purchase or sale.

Troy is a virtual native of DC—having lived there now since 1987—but he actually hails from the mountain town of Lenoir, North Carolina. Non-profit work is a family tradition for Troy, so it is no surprise that he began there, too, after graduating from the University of North Carolina. As part of that work, Troy raised funds for an exhibit on affordable housing while with the National Building Museum. You could say it was this—as well as his work with top builders at the National Housing Endowment and the National Association of Homebuilders—that inspired him to enter the world of real estate.

Troy takes great satisfaction in helping his clients find the homes of their dreams, and to starting, or continuing, them on their paths toward financial wealth. Having served in the military, he also understands the impact of sudden relocations and the unique needs that accompany such a move. He takes pride in going above and beyond for his clients to help them achieve their real estate goals.
