Rising fuel cost, coupled with superior services found inside the city, is really creating a draw. You also have to think about the social science of people moving back into the city. Many of today's new home buyers were raised in the 'burbs' and are looking to distance themselves from their family. What better way to tell your folks that you are diffrent from them buy moving back into the trendy city. I completely agree that we are seeing a influx in people coming back into the city.
